RR House

For our Bangalore-based client, we worked with a mood board that was modern, minimal, yet timeless. For the dining area, the charm of exposed brick comes to life with a wall featuring an intriguing in-and-out pattern that adds texture and a raw, earthy charm. Indoor greens complement this beautifully, enhancing the warm beige and brown palette. Rattan cane appears in the furniture and decor, bringing a natural touch. Warm, suspended light fixtures add to the cosy and inviting ambiance.

In the living area, rattan cane continues on the partition walls, framed in black for a sharp contrast. The white sofas with wooden framing pair effortlessly with a centre table that mirrors the same half-and-half detail. Cushions in shades of black, blue, and beige add a splash of color, while white curtains and walls provide a clean backdrop. Sculptural art pieces on the walls introduce a contemporary, glossy accent that adds character to the space.

The kitchen carries forward the warm white and beige palette, with soft grey blinds and a striking pop of sage green tiles. Black accents on skirting, window edges, drawers, and cabinets act like the outline of a sketch, giving the space a refined finish. The ceiling is kept grey, with wooden detailing along the edges and minimal light fixtures for a clean, modern look.

Near the staircase, the exposed brick pattern reappears as the backdrop of a beautiful and small green courtyard. This open space allows natural light to flow in, adding warmth and life to the dining area, too.
