Greybox House

This Jaipur residence features a minimalist grey façade, but the design comes alive through the playful treatment of ceilings on each floor. On the ground floor, a warm wooden ceiling adds character and coziness. The first floor features a clean white ceiling for a bright, airy feel, while the third floor combines black and wooden finishes, lending a striking yet balanced contrast.

At the entry level, thoughtful landscaping in the front yard and subtle use of jaali patterns in the compound wall complement the solid mass of the building behind, adding texture and openness without compromising privacy. The second floor opens up to a semi-covered terrace that faces the front, an inviting space that doubles as the family’s go-to hangout zone, perfect for gatherings or everday evening retreats.
