Screen Box House

Large screens and jaalis are making a strong comeback and are being embraced across a wide range of architectural projects. In this Bangalore residence, we had the opportunity to use a striking screen as the hero element of the design. With its simple yet bold pattern, the screen takes center stage on the façade, adding depth and character while serving as a defining visual feature.

To complement this, the balconies on the left feature ceilings with warm wooden accents, adding texture and balance to the overall composition. The carefully curated color palette ties the elements together seamlessly, creating a cohesive and elegant exterior. To allow the screen to truly stand out, the surrounding walls were kept a crisp white, creating contrast and visual harmony in the design. The dramatic screen not only defines the facade but also provides visual privacy for the residents. At the same time, it offers a discreet vantage point from which they can keep an eye on the entrance gate, ensuring safety and convenience.
