Agra Resort

A competition proposal for a resort located in close proximity to the iconic Taj Mahal, this design was envisioned to ensure that every guest, from every part of the site could experience the awe-inspiring “Waah Taj” moment. With an Architecture marvel so magnificent, the plan follows a stepped layout, carefully orchestrated to offer unobstructed views of the monument from all guest rooms. Not only this, the rooms also offer the view of another unique feature, an on site ‘human river’, a symbolic yet functional water body inspired from the project’s proximity to the Yamuna. This river flows in a plus fashion and offers a beautiful view. This element not only enhances the landscape and ambience but also naturally connects to two water treatment plants. The riverfront comes to life with a recreational strip that houses a skywalk, activity centre, meadow and farming garden.
