Kisan House

This residence is designed on the concept of stepped planning. When the client approached Studio WhyArch they had a clear vision, they wanted stepped planning and also for us to be mindful of the fact that this is a corner plot house. All of this had to happen in a budget! We used simple and minimal aesthetics to bring the client’s vision to life. We used the 9 square grid pattern where the courtyard sits at the centre and becomes the life of the house. The nine square grid translates into nine volumes that rise and fall, creating a dynamic play of spaces, balconies, and rooms. This thoughtful configuration ensures multiple pathways for natural light and ventilation, making the home not just visually engaging, but also breezy and bright throughout.
