JaipurSquirrels International School
This Jaipur-based school draws its inspiration from the playful geometry of LEGO bricks, brought to life through a vibrant and thoughtful design. The facades feature an engaging interplay of solid and void, with louvers and solid massing in bold shades of red, yellow, blue, and green. This inspiration is drawn from Le Corbusier’s timeless palette that continues to resonate with all age groups even today. White detailing frames the windows across all blocks, subtly tying the various colors together and adding a layer of coherence to the vibrant exterior. The use of vibrant colors helps create an engaging and stimulating environment that makes learning more joyful for children. Multiple box extensions across the façade break the monotony and give the building a dynamic architectural identity, while vertical louvers protect the classrooms from harsh sunlight and improve ventilation. The building is constructed using a steel structure system, enabling faster construction while ensuring durability. Classrooms are arranged on either side of a central corridor, allowing for better circulation and easier supervision. The campus is thoughtfully zoned, with separate blocks for administration, learning spaces, and service areas, ensuring smooth functioning and clear movement paths. Second floor houses an open-to-sky terrace that overlooks the outdoor play area. The school houses swimming pool, badminton court, pickleball court, skating area, indoor activity zone, and an open garden, a thoughtful mix of activities to ensure there’s something for every student.
